Update #2 - May 7, 2012

There has been a great deal of interest in the poker tournament, but only those people you see to the right have been willing to commit.  I see some interesting plot lines developing among those people who have already committed.

• There is a lawyer and a doctor.
• One of the participants will be coming from 300 miles away and another will be traveling less than 30 yards.
• One is from California (and a Lakers fan) and another is from Texas (a Spurs fan).

I will not know the structure and the prizes until I know exactly how many people will be playing.  If no one else joins in and there are just six players, everyone will start with $2,500 in chips and the winner will get $90, with second place getting $30.  As more players are added, I will try to update the format and prizes.
