Sixteen players showed up at the Copperstone Clubhouse to make up the largest tournament field we've had for a BB Invitational. We had two full tables of eight and things got started just after 10:00 PM. Things went along smoothly until just before midnight when the on-site alarm system began emitting warnings. At midnight, the lights went out and shortly thereafter an alarm went off. After dealing with the security company and police who arrived to make sure we weren't vandalizing the place, we were finally able to resume play after a 40-minute delay.
Things started to pick up and we moved all the action to one table. Joe's night was made when he was able to take Jaira out, exacting revenge for his quick exit in the last tournament. Little did he know at the time that things were going to keep getting better for him. Jake and Joe were able to outlast all others and were trading blows for some time before they both went all-in. Joe's J8s made a straight and took the last hand.
